Thanks to Suri, for the sending in this tip. This is the first time I’m getting a few details about what LRM is all about. Just a glimpse, yet much better than not knowing anything about it. The movie’s supposed to be release around September 1st and that doesn’t leave it much time to start generating interest via its promos.

As per the preview on Yahoo

One of the most-awaited films of the year, the sequel sees the original cast, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, return and they are joined by Dia Mirza and Vidya Balan (of Parineeta fame).

Bole to cast ekdum sahi ja rayela hain re! But you noting me telling this - because bahut important item bol rayela hain apun - Except for Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi carrying over the same characters as in the first part, the rest of the cast (including Boman Irani) has no relation to Munnabhai MBBS.

Bole to Part 2, Part 1 ka dur dur tak koi relation nahin hain re… Yeh continuation nahi, new situation hain!!!

The film promises to be a heart-warming, rib-tickling laugh riot. Dutt plays the philosophical ‘Bhai’, Warsi is the hilarious and touchingly loyal ‘Circuit’, and Vidhya Balan plays ‘Jhanvi’, the radio jockey Munna has lost his heart to, even before he could set his eyes on her. Boman Irani (Lucky Singh) is once again Munnabhai’s adversary as a rich builder, whose Gurdaspur roots are very much evident, in his lingo and his demeanor. The battle between Lucky Singh and his nemesis Munna has all the ingredients of a laughathon as Lucky pits himself unsuccessfully against Munna.

So we get the point. Boman Irani plays a new character Lucky Singh. Gurdaspur? Kya bolta hain boss? Apun ka birthplace ka naam famous kareyla hain!

So where’s the dhamaal twist?

The twist in the tale comes when Munnabhai comes face to face with Mahatma Gandhi (played by Dilip Prabhawalkar) and both stick to their respective philosophies even while they are compelled to work together for the same goal.

Mahatma comes face to face with Munnabhai? How would they be able to show it? Mahatma’s soul talks to Munna? Or Something else?

Movie dekhne ka khujli thoda thoda chaloo ho rayela hain Mamu!
