Look Who’s Back! (Hint: Thok sake to thok lo)

All stand up and bow to the Don of the Corporate Mafia world. He’s back. Bigger. Better. Stronger pony tail. And with Rupees 35 Crores (about US$7.5 million) to spend on Bollywood each year.
The picture above has two faces. They both belong to the same person. The difference is the one behind was photoshoped by the person standing in front.
For those who came in late, the man in the picture was at the epicenter of the great Blogger-IIPM’s bosses war last year. Articles about what happened are here, here and here.
Yes, we are talking of no one else but the producer and director of “Rok Sake To Rok Lo”… incase you don’t seem to remember the movie, don’t fret about it. It’s one of those kinds that will give you nightmares for days.
Of course I’m talking of no one else but “Professor” Arindam Chaudhuri. Yes, the same one, who is called a “Management Guru” (honestly, besides the ignorant greasy palmed media, I have not heard anyone else from any industry call this guy by this title). Interestingly he’s done his “MBA” from his own Management college! Not sure how good or bad his and his father’s (who himself is the proud owner of fake degrees, yes not a degree but degrees) owned management institute is, but haven’t seen any other “Management Guru” coming out from the institute, which is IIPM by the way.
But Mr. Management Guru is back. In Bollywood. With “Rok Sake To Rok Lo - Part 2″…. nah! Just kidding. He recently spoke about his forthcoming plans with DNA India. He also provided a “deep insight” into the failure of his first movie…
“Originally, I wasn’t supposed to direct ‘Rok… ‘ But hardly 15 days before the film was to begin, its director backed out. Now, this put us in a tight stop. I couldn’t have hired a roadside director. So, I picked it up myself,” he reminisces.
I think he had the bloggers on his mind when he says…

“I knew there would be criticism (on the movie). But my father always said that one shouldn’t get affected by success and failure. He used to maintain two different files – one called ‘Praises’ and the other called ‘Abuses’.
Later, he combined the two and said both of it is useless. “One should do what one does best and do it with honesty,” says Chaudhuri. Essentially Dehli-based, Chaudhuri has now been making frequent trips to Mumbai.
Honesty? Has IIPM stopped publishing their misleading ads and not accepting under the table donations? Have they stopped misleading their students on job guarantees?
DNA India further reports that…
He already has exclusive multiple film contracts with Rituparno Ghosh and Aziz Mirza (oz comment: Have these two gone nuts?????). Any plans to intellectualize cinema? “Not really, but I definitely want to bring back the art cinema movement that I believe has died long back. I have grown up on films by Ritwik Ghatak and Satyajit Ray (oz comment: Liar liar pants on fire). I admire filmmakers like Yash Chopra and Rakesh Roshan. So, I have been a non-embarrassed film buff and I wish to do good work here,” he explains.
His focus, he stresses, will be on good stories. “I would really want to produce more films, but where are great writers?” he questions (oz comment: studying at your institute, IIPM). Pre and post production research is as important, he adds. “This time, we will test the market, get feedback and make the necessary changes. During ‘Rok… ‘, there was no time for feedback-based changes. Or may be, I messed up,” he admits. (oz comment: Feedback based changes??? That would mean he would have had to reshoot the entire fucking movie)
Meanwhile, Chaudhuri has finished the writing work on his second directorial venture (oz comment: God Help Us!). “It will be based on the film industry, and whom I cast will depend on the final script,” he says (oz comment: God Help the Film Industry!). He has already forayed into the regional market, with a string of Bengali films(oz comment: God Help West Bengal!). Rituparno Ghosh-directed ‘Doshar’ is one of the prominent Bengali films to have come out of his stable.
“The intention is to make good films, and people like Rituparno and Aziz Mirza, whom I respect so much, are only helping me do that. (oz comment: Do they have children or grandchildren to whom you are offering a ‘FREE’ MBA?)”

“Feedback based changes?” What the fuck is that man? Is he going to circulate the script or is he going to shoot the movie and do a 3-day trail version. If he gets positive response he will run it or, re-shoot the movie.. what a gimmick!!!!
I remember a telugu movie made in late 90’s. Which got released without a name. The producer then held a contest for the viewers to come up with a appropriate name. The movie bombed
The name of the movie was PERULENI CINEMA ( Un-named cinema)…lol

IIPM is a piece of crap and they claim 100% placements coz almost 90% of the students are hired by Planman which is a company owned by Chodu …oops Chaudhuri!
and as if looting the students wasn’t enough, this no-talent asswipe is coming out with another movie to loot the common junta

Well as vishaal bhardwaj says “Every one in india knows how to bat like sachin tendulkar and how to make a hit film”
I knew he was with ritupornu …. but aziz mirza ???? I don’t believe this. Aziz is too good to be with someone like Chuadhary.
But I kind of like these assholes who claim they are the know all and be all of everything - be it management or film making
